| Pocketbook 2008: Digital Greece in numbers |
In 2008 and for the fourth consecutive year the Observatory for the Greek Information Society assessed the progress of digital Greece and the role of new technologies in the country by measuring the indicators of the European i2010 action plan.
More specifically, this measurement which consists of nationwide surveys, provides -among other things -valuable information regarding the use of Information and Communication Technologies by citizens, the adoption of technologies by enterprises, as well as e-government and e-commerce. The current publication presents the evolution of the indicators from 2005 to 2008, and their comparison to the European average. An analysis of the results for this four-year period shows that nearly all indicators have increased considerably.
